LOUDwomen's Youth Debate Forum 2026-2027

This program is designed for students in grades 5–8 who are interested in building confidence, improving public speaking skills, and learning the fundamentals of debate. Whether you're completely new to debate or have prior experience, YDF provides a fun and supportive environment where everyone can grow.

Meetings will be held Saturdays from 3-5 at the Bentonville Public Library. Our first meeting is August 15th. Throughout the year, students will learn how to construct strong arguments, conduct effective research, think critically, collaborate with others, and present their ideas with confidence. They'll also be introduced to several styles of debate, including Public Forum, Lincoln-Douglas, IPDA, and Congressional Debate.

YDF is a great way to prepare for high school speech and debate while developing valuable communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills that extend far beyond competition.
